New HVAC System Installation: How it Works With Crest Air

Replacing your air conditioning system is a big decision, especially in South Florida where your AC works hard for much of the year. You want to know what you are buying, what it will cost, when it can be installed, and who to call when you have a question.
At Crest Air, we keep the process clear from the first conversation through installation and beyond. Here is what you can expect when you reach out to us about a new HVAC system.

It All Starts With a No Pressure Conversation
When you contact Crest Air, our office team will gather some basic information about you, your property, and your current HVAC equipment, if you have that information available.
You do not need to know exactly what system you need before you call, though. That is what we are here to help you determine.
We will then schedule a time for one of our HVAC specialists to visit your property and take a closer look at your current setup.
We Come Out to Scope the Project
Every home and HVAC system is a little different. We will evaluate your existing equipment, look at what will be involved in the replacement, and gather the information we need to properly price the project.
This is also a good time to talk about what matters to you. Maybe you want greater efficiency. Maybe your current system has struggled to keep your home comfortable during the hottest months. Maybe you are noticing humidity issues. Or maybe your priority is simply finding a reliable replacement that fits your budget.
If you already know exactly what you want, that is perfectly fine, too! We can provide pricing specifically for that equipment rather than presenting several options you did not ask for.
We Put Together Your Proposal
After the visit, we will send the project information to our team at the office, who will prepare your proposal.
Depending on your needs, you may have different efficiency levels or equipment options to consider. A higher SEER2 rating generally indicates a more energy-efficient cooling system, although higher-efficiency equipment typically comes with a higher upfront cost.
Our job is to explain what those differences actually mean so you can make an informed decision.
Once your proposal is ready, we will email it to you and follow up by phone. This gives you an opportunity to review everything first and then talk through your questions with a real person.
A new system can also include additional options based on how you want to maintain and monitor your equipment.
New customers can choose to join the Crest Air Comfort Club for ongoing preventative maintenance and member benefits. Existing Comfort Club members receive discounts on repairs, and certain membership levels may also include savings toward a new system installation.
We can also discuss options such as iFLO drain treatment, which helps keep condensate drain lines clear, as well as Trane Diagnostics. We will explain what is available for your particular equipment and let you decide what makes sense for you.
We Order Your Equipment
When you decide to move forward, a 50% deposit is required before we order your equipment. Many of the systems we install are available quickly, sometimes within the same week. Certain models can take eight to ten days, and specialty equipment may require a custom order.
Equipment availability changes, so we will give you the most current information when your order is placed rather than promising a timeline we cannot guarantee.
We Schedule Your Installation
Once the equipment is ordered, we will tentatively schedule your installation.
Shipping delays can happen, and though it's rare, sometimes equipment takes longer to arrive than anticipated. If anything changes, you will hear from us the very moment we find out.
Communication is a big part of how Crest Air works.
We can keep in touch by phone, email, or text, depending on what works best for you. Our goal is to make sure you know where things stand throughout the process.
Installation Day
On installation day, we will let you know when the Crest Air team is on the way.
Our technicians will remove the old equipment as needed, install your new system, and make sure everything is operating properly.
If you are home, we will also walk you through your new equipment. Many modern HVAC systems can be managed through an app, so we can help you get connected and show you the basics. If your system includes Trane Diagnostics, we will activate that feature as well.
After the Installation
Our relationship with you does not end when the installation crew pulls out of the driveway.
After your new system is installed, someone from Crest Air will follow up to make sure everything makes sense and answer any questions that came up after you had a chance to use it.
If everything is working exactly as it should, great! Enjoy your new system.
If something does not seem right, tell us. We will get someone out to take a look.
Clear Communication From Start to Finish
A new HVAC system is a significant investment in your home or business. We believe you should understand what you are buying and know what is happening throughout the process.
From our first conversation and all the way through your proposal, equipment ordering, installation, and follow-up, we will keep you informed and answer any and all questions you may have.
